1) Too many “Edwin from the future” lectures. A professional course should go back and remake lectures rather than throwing in a patch of lectures like Edwin feels is appropriate.
2) Many of the lectures could be combined to give a better learning experience.
3) Edwin persists on giving unnecessary life advice. I understand that he means well but it’s redundant to programming. Like I don’t need to be told “not to get addicted to coffee” OR “why red bull gives some people heart attacks”. Edwin’s advice was actually motivating the first couple lectures but when I’m trying to grasp a concept and Edwin goes off on an elementary life advice tangent it only frustrates me and others based too on the reviews I have read.
