“I enjoyed the course very much. Like a lot of courses you may need to watch more than once. Watch once to get a feel for the course and where you are weak. After that go through the course and manually look at the topics and practice.
The only place where I didn’t completely agree is the section on resumes. My experience is you need seversl versions. One is the type of resume is the one he describes. another type is very detailed on your projects. Some recruiters and Hiring Managers want to know the Technologies you used, the description and issues you had to overcome. Here in Canada the Goverment generally require a different type.
In summary you may need to ask what type of Resume they require. Some recruiters will want both; one for them and a Technical one for their client. As you gain experience you may also want to Taylor the resume to the job.” (David Desson)

 

 

About Instructor:

Jeff Bae

Jeff Bae is an engineering lead at a stealth startup company. Previously he was a Senior Software Engineer at Google, working on computer vision and large scale machine learning system. While he was at Google, as a hiring committee member, he had reviewed numerous number of interview packets and interviewed candidates with different professional/education backgrounds. Also as an internal candidate coaching instructor, he had coached under-represented candidates to achieve a great job at onsite interviews.
He got his PhD degree in Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, started his computer programming at the age of 8.
