I am a software engineer with a focus on web development and software quality.
Recently, I developed NewsRoom, a single-page full-stack web app with the goal of providing morning news from a variety of different outlets to users around the world. It utilizes Ruby on Rails on the back-end, a PostgreSQL database, and React.js with a Flux architecture on the front-end. I also recently developed a Ruby library, in the vein of ActiveRecord, that provides the ability to interact with relational databases.
Previously, I have been involved with many different endeavors. While still in high school, I was recognized for excellence as a referee and given the opportunity to represent the Northern Marianas Islands at several international tournaments. As a violinist, I was a prize winner in various regional competitions, and was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to study at the Schwob School of Music.
